Light, youthful, dark ruby red color. Intense on the nose, with ripe fruit, plums and cherries, chocolate and some spicy undertones. The palate is broad, with good body, medium but velvety tannins, moderate acidity and vibrant red fruit flavors. It is a blend of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from selected vineyards, aged for 12 months in the winery's cool cellar. Elegant and complex on the nose, with the aromas from all three flavors expressed in a firm and perfectly balanced way, without any one of them overshadowing the rest. The expectations on the palate, raised by the complex, balanced and elegant nose, are fully realized as the distinctive varietal characteristics gradually unfold. Generous and spicy, with round, rather soft tannins, well balanced by alcohol, this wine gives a full mouthfeel to the palate. Excellent with classic or traditional Greek dishes, including braised meat in fresh tomato sauce, moussaka and pastitsio. Also goes well with creative Greek and Italian dishes.
