Queen scallop meat will retain their fresh taste and smell for 3-4 days although we recommend eating within the first 2 days for ultimate flavour. They also freeze very well and retain their quality when thawing out slowly. The roe on a Queen Scallop has a stronger flavour and a different texture to the white meat.
